Sony has announced its 2.7 system software update for the Playstation 3 that is available from 2 April 2009, adding text chat, enhanced music playback and improved Internet accessibility on the console.
The system update is downloaded by selecting the ‘System Update’ icon under the settings column on PS3′s Xross Media Bar.

Microsoft has announced a limited edition Xbox 360 bundle featuring an Xbox 360 60GB Pro with two games from EA – Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box and Hasbro-inspired Trivial Pursuit. Available in stores across South Africa from 1st April 2009, the bundle will go for R3800.
Microsoft says the bundle offers a value-add of around R800 and further establishes the Xbox 360 as the most affordable next-generation console. Continue reading
